Gemma Jackman Designs

Last month a friend of mine Catherine Allison needed some photographs for her final project towards her fashion degree. When she mentioned it would be using another student's designs I couldn't help but be excited. I always love working with independant designers and unique designs.

For the shots Catherine wanted them to be pretty simple and have a more high fashion feel them to go alongside the rest of her project. All the clothes in these photographs were designer by Gemma Jackman.

Verses - Birmingham Show

A few years back whilst at University I put on a few live music events at The Sound Bar in Birmingham. One of the shows I put on was part of a tour that Brighton based Verses were a part of. Since meeting the guys back then I always try and catch up with them if they play Birmingham and occasionally take some photos as well.

As the guys were heading out on their first headline tour I couldn't miss it. Their Birmingham show was at Unplug in Digbeth, not the greatest venue I've ever been to but nevertheless Verses put on a great show as always! Full set of photos on Flickr

Slam Dunk Midlands 2013

Last year I was gutted I didn't get to go to Slam Dunk Festival, so this year as soon as they announced a Midlands date in Wolverhampton I requested to shoot it straight away.

Having shot both Hit The Deck and Slam Dunk Festival this year I found that Slam Dunk definately had the better atmosphere and line-up. I had such an amazing day and it was so much fun to shoot. Being able to sit and watch bands from the upstairs of the civic and see the crowds go mental below was ace too, and of course I made sure I got some shots from the top too.

The Pigeon Detectives - Counteract Magazine

Minimum Mouse Product Photography

In an attempt to widen my photography skills and experiences I decided it would be a good idea to get some more experience in the world of product photography. Knowing that my lovely friends over at Minimum Mouse sell a wide range of jewellery and accessories I thought they would be the perfect people to do some photos for. Even more they got some photos they to use on their website. Win win!!
