The first gig of February and the first time I shot with my
shiny new Nikon D7000. Believe it or not I’d be saving up for this camera for
well over a year but never quite got round to actually saving…never the less
I’m super happy I finally have my new camera as my Nikon D70s is quite old and
seems to occasionally be a bit temperamental when shooting.
I’ve shot We Are The Ocean a few times and feel my shots
have gotten better every time I’ve shot them. This time was no different and
shooting with my new camera I can’t believe the difference in quality! I just
wish I’d have saved up quicker and bought this camera a long time ago!
As a band I absolutely love WATO and still can’t believe
that Dan Brown isn’t a part of the band anymore. To me they will never truly be
the same without him and I’m gutted I’ll never hear certain songs live again
without his screaming. However they’re still an ace band and the absence of
Dan’s screams only highlights the power of Liam Cromby’s voice.
Here’s a few shots from the show, to see more shots and Alex
Easton’s review head over to altsounds.com. Full set of photos on Flickr
