Vans Warped Tour UK 2015

The last week of October I headed off to Portugal for the week, (my first holiday in about 4/5 years), so I barely had any time after shooting Vans Warped Tour to get many photos online. I've now caught up with everything and have the full sets up on my Flickr. I only used my 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, and this time rather than my 50mm, I borrowed a Tamron 35mm f/1.8 to allow me to get some wider shots and give myself a bit of a challenge.

Here's some of my favourite shots, more will be featured in the next issue of Darkus Magazine.

Sonisphere Festival - Friday

It’s taken me two full days and two weeks of late evenings, but I’ve finally edited all of my photos from Sonisphere!

Buying a 70-200mm f/2.8 was definitely a smart decision and it’s done me well (and so did the step stool I brought, festival stages are super high!) The one thing I’ve learnt about shooting a festival is that your feet/legs/back will hurt from walking and carrying so much stuff, nevertheless I’d happily do it again! I also met some mega lovely photographers who were super friendly. There’s definitely a different atmosphere in the photo pit at a festival (well atleast Sonisphere), everyone is very courteous of each other. That’s not saying I have trouble in most photo pits, but there’s definitely been a fair few ‘egos’ at smaller shows who think they can push you out of their way…

Here’s a selection of shots from Friday in the order that they played, the full galleries will be on my Flickr, with a selection of photos over at Hit The Floor.
